Receiving Jesus as Lord and Saviour

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, him that comes to me I will in no wise cast out John 6:37.
So I know you won't cast me out, but you take me in and I thank you for it. You said in your word, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10:13
I am calling on your name, so i know you have saved me now.

You also said, if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
For with the heart man believe unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:9-10
I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the son of God. I belive that he was raised from the dead for my justification, and i confess him now as my Lord.

Being Spiritual 1 Cor 3:1-3

Spiritual gifts don't make you a full grown Christian. Some think being spiritual would be exercising a spiritual gift, that couldn't be so because here it plainly states these Corinthians were carnal and babes. I Cor 3:1-3
Carnal man is one governed by his physical senses. Though he is born again and a new creature, he walks after the order of natuarl men.
The spiritual man is one who knows what belongs to him in Christ Jesus, and takes advantage of it. The spiritual man has drunk deeply at the fountain. He has fed regularly at the table of the Lord. The spiritual man has saturated himself in love, the love of God. The spiritual man comes to know the Lord Jesus Christ in his great ministry at the right hand of God the father.

How do I get to this level of spirituality?
This level of spirituality require you to grow, the believer must come to know what he is in Christ, and what Christ is in him. He must come to know the present day ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ at the right hand of the father.
Just because we've heard this taught or we have read them is no sign we walk in the reality of it. it is as we feed upon it and become acquainted with  the truth that we come into the full knowledge of the son of God unto a prefect man.
The spiritual man is the one in whom the word has gained the ascedancy over his mind and over his body. And it has brought him into harmony with the will of God, for the word in the will of God.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.

Every believer is a minister

To be a Christian means being like Jesus. He said, for even of man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life for as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
Service and giving are the defining characteristics of the Christ like lifestyle.

Every Christian is created for ministry. Eph 2:10
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Every Christian is saved for ministry. 2 Tim 1:9
"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time"

Every Christian is called into ministry. 1 Peter 2:9-10
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy"

Every Christian is gifted for ministry. 1 Peter 4:10
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

Every Christian is authorized for ministry. Matt 28:18-20
"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Every Christian is commanded to minister. Matt 20:26-28
"Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Every Christian is to be prepared for ministry. Eph 4:11-12
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up"

Every Christian is needed for ministry. 1Cor 12:27
"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

Every Christian is accountable for ministry, and will be rewarded accordingly to his or her ministry. Col 3:23-24.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving"

Life gives life

Life gives life, he gave his life for us to possess so that we might give our life for him to possess.
This is what is taught by the parable of the vine and the branch, in their wonderful identification, in their perfect union.
He gave himself to death, he lost his life, that we might find life in him. Faith is not faith if it is not working or if not put to work. This is the only true vine, he lives to live in us.
He gave his life to secure a place for his love in our hearts to rule us.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.

A non-serving Christian is a contradiction

We have all been gifted for ministry to serve other people. Every Christian is a minister not a pastor, but a minister. Any time you use your talents and gifts to help others, you are ministering.
He saved us and chose us for his holy work, not because we deserved it but because that was his plan long before the world began. 2Tim 1:9

Why did God save you? So you could serve him.
A non-serving Christian is a contradiction

How do you know what your ministry is? Look at your talents, gifts, and abilities. When you use those talents and gifts to help other people, that 's called ministry - nothing fancy or scary about it. It's just helping others.
Any time you are helping other people in God's name, - you are ministering. Rom 3:15-16.

Repentance is a grace of lifetime

Repentance is a grace of a lifetime, just like faith.
Repentance is the inseparable companion of faith.

All the time that we walk by faith and not by sight, the tear of repentance glitters in the eye of faith.
To be a believer is a penitent.
Faith and repentance are but two spokes in the same wheel. Repentance has been describe as a heart broken for sin, and from sin; it may equally well be spoken of as turning and returning.

Repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we are in earnest grieve, by doing so no more.
Do not regard your repentance as the cause of your remission, but as the companion of it.
Do not expect to be able to repent until you see the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and his readiness to blot out your sin.
No one comes to God on less they pass through the pillar of repentance and remission.
Repentance of sin and faith in pardon are the wrap and woof of the fabric of real conversion. Both repentance and forgiveness comes from the same source, and are given by the same saviour.

Jesus has both ready now, and he is prepared to bestow them now, and to bestow most freely on all who are ready to accept from his hands.
Repentance of sin is as truly the work of grace as the making of an atonement by which sin is blotted out.
He is exalted to give repentance. Jesus is exalted on high, that through his virtue of intercession that repentance may have a place before God.

Educate your spirit part 5

By instantly obeying the voice of your spirit.

How to instantly obey the voice of your spirit.!!

The human spirit has a voice. We call it the conscience. We call it intuition. We sometimes refer to it as an inner voice or an inward guidance from the Lord.

The world calls it "a hunch". But really it is the voice of man's spirit talking to him.
Every man's spirit has a voice.
But the new birth is a rebirth of the human spirit.
When you allow your born again, recreated spirit the privilege of meditating upon the word, your spirit gets correct information and will then became an accurate guide.
Your spirit has the life and nature of God in it, for  the holy spirit dwells within you.
God communicates with you on the inside of you in your spirit because that's where he is.
Your conscience, the voice of your recreated spirit, becomes the voice of God to you when it is trained in line with the word of God.
Pro 20:27
God will use your spirit to guide you. Paul said that he always obeyed his conscience.
Acts 23:1
We miss it by not always looking to our spirit. Many times we put a fleece out and tell God, you do this if you want me to do that. But when you do this, what you really want God to do is come over into the sense realm and give you direction, and that is dangerous because that is the realm where Satan operates.
2 Cor 4:4
God has a better way than a hit and miss system in the sense realm. Eventually as you train and develop your spirit by feeding and meditating in God's word, you will come to the place where you'll know in your spirit what you should do in every area of life.

As you diligently follow these four steps outlined, you will build up your spirit and train and educate your spirit man to dominate over your flesh and your mind.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.

Educate your spirit part 4

By giving the word first place in your life.
How do you give the word first place in your life?

The scriptures tell us exactly how to give the word first place in our lives.
The word of God should be the first thing even before anything else.

Pro 4:20-22... my son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings

John 6:63...it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.

But why not just put Gods word first, instead of using  it as a last resort. we should train ourselves and ask ourselves what Gods word says about every situation and circumstance in life.

Educate your spirit part 3

By practising the word

How to practise the word of God. We will take our reference from James 1:22. To practise the word of God means being a doer of the word, and not hearers only.
Practising the word requires you to do what  the word tells you to do. Being a doer of the word of God means to walk in love. John 13:34 ; Rom 13:10

The Bible says "a new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

I don't know about you but this is what the word of Gods say....

Also being a doer of the word means to do primarily what is written in the Epistle, because those are the letters that are written to the church.
The Epistle belongs to us.
Practising the word means not fretting. Phil 4:6,7.
That is what the spirit of God is saying through Apostle Paul here. Just to sympathise with a man doesn't give him the answer.
When I get alone and read this verse out loud, I tell the Lord that His Word is true and I believe it.
When God said not to fret, that means we can keep from fretting. God is a just God, and he won't ask us to do something that  we couldn't do.

Once upon a time, I believed I could make my requests known unto God, but it was hard for me to believe that I couldn't fret.
But God said that we don't have to fret. So I would agree with what the Bible said and refuse to fret or have anxiety about anything.
If we stay without fretting or anxiety the peace of God will garrison and mount guard over our heart and mind.

Educate your spirit part 2

How to meditate in the word.

We will take our reference from ..
Joshua 1:8.
This book of the law shall not depart from your month, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Acts 19:20
So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

The 3 stages of meditation.
1. Mutter the word - look at the word and speak it to yourself.
2. Talk it loud
3. Quick charge response.

Never forget to intermix your talking and muttering the word with praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20
When mediating on the word of God, you need to have a strong desire or cultivate a strong desire. This helps you focus.
You also need to stir up joy in your heart. Is 12:3
And finally as you are in this mode, paint a picture of your desire and the Lord will bring all your desires and expectation to pass Rom 4:18

Note that you are not just a reader but a finder... Job 33:24.

Educate your spirit part 1

Man is a spirit, possess a soul and lives in a body. And God communicates with our spirit. So there is the need to train the human spirit, so it can communicate with God.

Prov 20:27 ...says the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

In this blog am going to list some of the ways to go about training your spirit, so that it can hear from and communicate with God.

There are 4 things a believer must do to educate your spirit.
1. By meditating in the word
2. By practising the word
3. By giving the word first place in your life.
4. By instantly obeying the voice of your spirit.

In life, is not that some have more or lots of faith than others. It is a matter of acting on the word and exercising the faith you already have.

Col 1:27
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Col 3:4
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Heb 13:5-6
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For he himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?.

This write up is in direct respond to agreeing to the word of God.

And finally what the holy Spirit is doing inside of you.

Conscience is the voice of the spirit

What do you know about  your salvation? Truth? Gospel of peace? word of God?

We are created for a purpose Ps 45:1; Luke 6:45

Have you find yourself asking the questions, what is my purpose? Where do I fit in?
If you have than look out for these four indentification facts.
a. the treasure you keep in your heart.
b. the things you value in your heart.
c. the themes that overflow in your heart.
d. the declarations you make of yourself.

Heart matters Acts 7:22-27

God has fashion your heart, and given you strengths. To help you identify your purpose, ask yourself what did God deliver me from or out off? How far have I come in my walk with God?
What is taken my interest nowadays? And finally what are the things that move me deeply now?

In Christ are hid all the treasures men around us need. He is full of grace and truth. In Him are all the children of God blessed, with all spiritual blessings.
We cannot appropriate all the promises of God without a life given up for men.
Get  your heart burdened with the need for souls, and the command to save them. And the power will come to claim the promise.

How to deal with the things of your heart?
Moses's preparation was learnt in all wisdom. God's prompting came into your heart. And the prompting  makes the preparation make sense. His presumption he supposed.

Protect your uniqueness
Prepare for your assignment
Pursue what God put in your heart
Patiently wait for your moment
Keep what is in your heart with diligence.

Authority is exercised by words when God speaks everything hears. Authority is given, conferred not acquired.Spiritual authority reside, domicile in the tongue.Faith demands discipline.

Abide in Me, and I in You-- John 15:4

Abide in Me, and I in You.

There is no deeper word in Scripture. God is in all. God dwells in Christ. Christ lives in God. We are in Christ. Christ is in us: our life taken up into His; His life received into ours; in a divine reality that words cannot express, we are in Him and he in us. and the words, Abide in me and I in you, just tell us to believe it, this divine mystery, and to count upon our God the husbandman, and Christ the Vine, to make it divinely true.
Blessed Lord, thou dost bid me abide in thee. How can I, Lord, except Thou show thyself to me, waiting to receive and welcome and keep me? I pray thee show me how thou as Vine undertaketh to do all. to be occupied with thee is to abide in Thee.
Here I am, Lord, a branch, cleansed and abiding--resting in Thee, and awaiting the inflow of thy life and grace.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.

Believe with your heart

To believe with the heart or spirit means to believe apart from what the intellect and the five senses can comprehend. Our spirits are designed to believe the word of Goddespite what circumstances indicates.
Therefore, the first step to believing with the spirit is to feed the spirit with the word of God.

1. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word proceed out of the mouth of God. Matt 4:4.
Jesus was referring to the spirit of man, which is the core of who we are; our spirit lives by the Word of God.

2. The heart of man is the spirit of man. Therefore, we trust God with the heart. Prov 3:5-7.
The physical body is designed to believe the senses. However, the spirit is designed to believe the word of God. a. God and his word are one. When we believe his word, we believe him. b. Therefore, believing  with our spirit is believing beyond what the senses detect.

3. We must watch the words we say because our words feed our spirits Eph 4:29
a. We have an inner ear that is direstly connected to our spirits. Therefore, the words we speak either positive or negative deposit good or bad things in our spirit.
b. When we speak words that are corrupt or negative, it grieves the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. Eph 4:30.
c. We must write the truth of the word of God on the tables of our hearts Prov 3:3
We write the truth on our hearts by speaking the word of God. The tongue is like the pen of a ready writer. Ps 45:1.
Therefore, saying what we believe from the word of God produces great results. Spiritual things manifest into physical things when we speak faith-filled words. Matt 17:20
The more time we spend in the word, the more we starve out doubts. Through the word, our spirits can gain the faith that our intellect cannot obtain.

4. The more highly developed we become in either faith or fear; the quicker we will see results.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.

The enjoyment of God

Be radically single minded in your commitment to know God.
Labour earnestly in your commitment to know the scriptures.
Don't get your vision of god second hand.
Be assiduous in reading  the holy scriptures.
For this is the fountain whence all dvinity is derived.
Therefore let not this treasure lie by you neglected.
Read with a view of solving problems.

I think Christ has recommended rising up early, that is why he rose early from the grave.
The enjoyment of God is the only happiness with which our souls can be satidfied.
A pastor will not be able to feed his flock rich and challenging insight into God's word unless he becomes a disciplined thinker.

Your Conscience is the voice of the spirit Prov 4:23

Brethen, if you don't read anything else please pay more attention to this blog.

It will end your toil and set you up.
Taken faith as the rile of our conduct, will bring us to a high degree of perfection.
I seek my satisfaction only in fulfilling his will, whether in suffering or in consolation.
For all will be equal to a soul truly resigned.

Feeling is the voice of the body. Reason is the voice of the soul or mind. Conscience is the voice of the spirit.
If we go by feeling, we are going to be in trouble.
The word and the spirit agree. The holy spirit will take this word and witness to your spirit.

Practice the presence of God; John 14:20-24

Ever since that time I walk before God simply, in faith, with humility and with love; and I apply myself diligently to do nothing and think nothing which may displease Him.
I hope that when I have done what I can, He will do with what He pleases.

You will be wondering, what l meant by 'since this time'. Since what time you may ask, since l heard him call me by name to set aside my life for him.
I have been in church consistently, serving faithfully, practising the word for 20 years, until that time. When I look back, I see that he has being calling ever since but I wasn't hearing him. Just minding my own business, how wrong I was!!!!
I thank him for having patience with me, I didn't mean to frustrate or offend him.

It is still vivid to me now talking about it. Let all our living, employment be to know God; the more one knows him, the more one desires to know him. Let us seek him often by faith; he is within us; seek him not elsewhere.
God knows best what is needful for us, and all that he does is for our good.(James 1:17) If we knew how much he loves us, we should be always ready to receive equally and with indifference from his hand.
May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory as you read.

All we need to know NOW!!! Colo 1:19

Am striding with everything in me, for I ought not to be weary if doing little things for the love of God, who regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it was performed.
So I write in other to share, that we should not wonder if, in the beginning, we often failed in our endeavours, but that at last we should gain a habit, which will naturally produce its acts in us, without our care, and to our exceeding great delight.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all the fullness dwell. Are you dwelling in him? Do you that for a fact?

Keys that leads to divine health Exodus 23:25

Divine health is every child of God's covenant right. And the key to enjoying divine health is service. Coming to church alone and taking nice notes is not serving God.
If all you are doing is being present in Zion Sunday after Sunday, please not that God is serving you and you are not serving God.
Being in service or serving God is when your whole body is involve. Service to God is in three fold, spiritual, physical and financial.
And you shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and i will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Courage to break free, James 1:8

Revelation turns the light on.
Revelation flows.
Revelation determines our destiny.
Revelation is about uncovering.

Revelation gives roots to your faith.
The depth of your revelation, determines your impact.
Revelation is a striking insight of the word.
Revelation is seeing pictures from scriptures
Faith is a living force drawn from the living word to produce living proofs.
It is what is revealed that can be received and that is what you can believe.

Four things we do with the word.
We Reject the word when God speaks to us
We Resist the word when God speaks to us
We Reduce the word when God speaks to us
We Receive the word when God speaks to us.

When Gods word is revealed to you, there is joy, excitement, and a willingness to obey.
When you receive revelation, they will be quick understand, quick action, accelerated results.

May the Christ in you be the hope of Glory to all who read.
